'Make it Yours' LASALLE UG Recruitment 2022

Context

We were tasked to get prospective students looking to pursue a tertiary education in the arts to RSVP for LASALLE’s e-Open House and apply to the undergraduate programmes by showing them how current students have been able to fully explore their creative passions without judgement.

‘a blank canvas’.

Concept

Two iterations of the main object,
each one relating to a school/discipline.

The art direction juxtaposes three images to show the same object having different interpretations, from each of the different faculties in LASALLE. The images used are also from actual student’s Final year Project works.
Alongside the KVs, the students’ journey in LASALLE were also shared through a series of videos with the concept of “How did I get here?”.
The way we see the world is defined by what we’ve seen felt and experienced. Our perception is more often than not biased, selective and malleable. Basically we see what we want to see. How does this apply to art students? They are able to see and find different ways to express an idea. What could be an empty room to many, could be a dance studio, a painting room and even a film set. They see the opportunities in the limitations. Hence, the campaign “Make it Yours” aims to communicate to potential students that LASALLE is an arts institution that allows you to express and explore limitless.
